The LateRooms.com Simply the Guest Awards are a way for us to thank, and show off our best reviewed properties based on the properties' genuine review score featured on the LateRooms.com website.

Qualification Criteria

To be included in a category the property must have the correct category selected on the LateRooms.com website and meet the category requirements (see Category Requirements). Each property is given a score (see Score) and the winners of each category are the highest scoring top 10 properties.

Category Requirements

Pet Friendly – pets can stay within the property.
Luxury – 4 and 5 star official accreditation
Spa – has a spa or treatments.
Beach – within 1.5 miles of the coast as the crow flies.
City – within a city centre.
Golf – has access to a golf course.
Activity – has 3 or more activities selected on the LateRooms.com website.
Family Friendly – has a family room option.
Airport – within 1.5 mile of an airport as the crow flies.
Business – has business facilities.
Bed & Breakfast – serves breakfast. - Less than 10 rooms
Europe – property is based in Europe, outside of the UK.
Asia – property based in Asia.

Score

The score for each property is based on a number of reviewable factors which a guest has access to once they have completed a booking. These include, but are not limited or restricted to: customer service score, stay again score, recommend to a friend score, cleanliness of accommodation score, quality of room score, value for money score, quality of food score and family friendly score. The time period used to determine the final scores is December 2011 – November 2012.

Terms

The terms "hotel" and "Hotels" on the lateroomsawards.com website refer to all accommodation establishments that meet the qualification criteria to win an award.
